If you dig games and guns artwork then I highly suggest checking out [link] Blick-Blanks great works. Amazing level of detail and lighting, his TF2 stuff is great as well, can't wait to see a TF2 strategy game.
Design looks good, although for a smg, it could be more compact. The resemblance to the X-BR is pretty neat, I'd keep it as it would give some character, G3 / MP5 resemblances and etc.
On the X-BR model, I haven't had much time to work on 3d stuff outside of my schoolwork so not much progress there. Still working on a highpoly Elcan atmos optic, then gotta start making some backup irons. I should be able to get it done when the Christmas break gets around though.
